REFLEKSI EPISTEMOLOGIS RISET PENDIDIKAN SENI
TANTANGAN DAN IMPLIKASI BAGI PENGEMBANGAN RISET LEMBAGA

Artikel ini membahas refleksi epistemologis sebagai implikasi paradigmatik dalam riset pendidikan seni pada program magister dan doktoral, sekaligus menyoroti tantangan yang dihadapi lembaga. Refleksi epistemologis dimaknai sebagai proses kritis untuk mempertanyakan dasar-dasar pengetahuan dan metodologi yang digunakan dalam riset seni. Pendidikan seni memiliki fakta ontologis yang khas sehingga memerlukan metode penelitian yang lebih terbuka. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui tinjauan literatur dan analisis kritis kasus terkait, artikel ini menguraikan diskursus epistemologis yang mencakup peran subjektivitas, interpretasi, dan nilai-nilai dalam menghasilkan pengetahuan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan riset pendidikan seni memerlukan pemahaman paradigmatik yang menekankan dialog lintas disiplin sebagai konsekuensi epistemologis. Tantangan utama adalah memadukan kerangka tradisional ilmu pengetahuan dengan kekhasan seni yang inklusif dan multidimensional. Implikasinya bagi lembaga riset mencakup perluasan metodologi, penguatan studi interdisiplin, dan integrasi keragaman epistemologis dalam pendekatan riset, khususnya pada program magister dan doktoral.
