Abstract

Artikel ini membahas percepatan dan penguatan penjaminan mutu pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI) di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tren global penjaminan mutu, urgensinya di Indonesia, prediksi capaian, serta kendala yang dihadapi. Tren internasional menunjukkan penekanan pada audit kualitas, keberlanjutan sistem, dan keterlibatan pemangku kepentingan, sementara di Asia peningkatan mutu didorong oleh internasionalisasi dan kolaborasi lintas negara. Urgensi di Indonesia terkait dengan meningkatnya jumlah perguruan tinggi dan program studi, tuntutan kualitas lulusan, kebutuhan internasionalisasi, serta keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan sarana. Prediksi menunjukkan bahwa percepatan akreditasi dan penguatan SDM asesor akan mempercepat tercapainya standar mutu nasional dan internasional. Namun, kendala seperti kurangnya respons pimpinan, minimnya anggaran, keterbatasan SDM, sarana prasarana yang belum memadai, rekrutmen yang terbatas, dan kerja sama eksternal yang kurang optimal perlu diatasi. Artikel ini merekomendasikan sinergi antara pemerintah, asesor, perguruan tinggi, dan pengguna lulusan untuk menyamakan persepsi dan memenuhi tuntutan global, sehingga PBSI mampu bersaing di tingkat internasional.
